Robert & Megan's Engagement Session at Smith Mountain Lake
When they met for coffee that very first time, she did her hair and got all dressed up. He wore sweatpants. They’re opposite in so many ways, but they complement each other and bring out the best in each other. He grounds her, his cynicism and sarcasm hiding a deeply sincere man; and she makes him come alive and let his barriers down.
We met them at a beautiful little spot on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia for their session. Megan spent much of her childhood near this lake. The low rolling hills, the springtime air, and the fresh green buds on all the trees were a refreshing intro to our spring season. We’ll be back together again with Robert and Megan at their wedding this summer, all the way up in the mountains of western North Carolina. But until then, enjoy these moments from their session!
