Brent & Rose's Engagement Session at the Peaks of Otter, Virginia
Brent & Rose met through a mutual friend and hung out a few times before they started dating. Rose was immediately interested in Brent, but he was dating someone else. They graduated, each moved home for a year - and then they both moved back to Lynchburg, within 10 days of each other. They often think back over all the times they narrowly missed each other, ships in the night, until finally they reconnected in Lynchburg.
One day, Rose got a text from their friend. All it said was, "Brent is single." Within 5 minutes, Rose had jumped on Instagram and sent a follow request to him. Brent got the notification and immediately knew that his friend was notifying all the single ladies that Brent was single again. He accepted her follow request, and two weeks later he slid into her DMs. The rest is history!
They brought us to The Peaks of Otter Lodge where they’d had their first date, where he hung up hammocks in the trees along the lake. We reminisced their love story as we chased the light all the way around the mountains and down the Parkway, to an overlook where they danced, snuggled and laughed the night away.
