That’s how Taylor and Ashleigh’s ceremony began, and that’s when we really understood just how much fun their wedding day was going to be. Every detail of the Disney-themed wedding was well thought out - from the custom blankets for their guests during the outdoor ceremony, to the tiny handwritten stickers on the bottom of each Hershey kiss at the reception, to Ashleigh’s custom-made jewelry using stones from her grandparents’ and mom’s wedding bands.
Despite the frigid temperatures and high winds all day long, being cold will be the last thing on the minds of those who were there. Loyalty and Joy were two words that were constantly being used to describe these two. They had friends and family travel from as far away as Germany - and yes, that was the bridesmaid who snuggled enough bottles of Jagermeister for the whole bridal party in her luggage! Taylor had most of his VMI alumni by his side with the exception of his best man - who still delivered his speech from hundreds of miles away. And you couldn’t find a moment when Ashleigh wasn’t smiling from ear to ear.
