Zach & Liz's Destination Engagement Session, Pt. II | Virginia Wedding Photographers at Oak Alley, New Orleans
You could hear the riverboats floating down the Mississippi just over the bluff in the morning stillness, before the tour buses started coming. The staff at Oak Alley was expecting us and they were the epitome of southern hospitality. We spent almost two hours exploring the plantation, but we saved the famous Alley for last.
These towering oak trees are over 200 years old. They've seen so much over the centuries, both good and bad. But this morning, Zach and Liz were weaving their own love story into the branches. Giant owls watched us and flew from branch to branch as Zach and Liz wandered among the trees, stopping to snuggle or share a passionate kiss hidden away from the tourists.
This destination engagement session was an incredible experience, and we cannot wait for their wedding in just a few months!!
