Morgan & Emily’s Fall Wedding with Sunflowers and S’Mores in Leesburg, Virginia

Morgan: Natural resource specialist by day, firefighter by night. Emily: Zookeeper by day, deer-wrestler by night (word has it) - not really, she touched a fawn at the zoo one day, and the fawn’s mother clipped Emily’s arm so hard it left an 8-inch scar. But these two are such a devoted and loyal couple; to animals, to helping others, and to each other. Their wedding day was the TEN year anniversary of their first date! They’ve been through all the awkward teenage years together and they’ve come out on the other side, more committed to each other than ever.

Emily and Morgan both worked so hard on putting plenty of personal touches throughout their day, like the groomsmen’s boutonnières and bowties from duck feathers they collected. Friends had made 2 full tables of homemade cookies and cupcakes at the reception, plus all the s’mores party favors for the guests to roast over the fire pit outside the barn.

Emily and Morgan, thank you so much for allowing us to witness you make your covenant. We’re truly honored. We pray a blessing of peace over your marriage, and may your commitment and devotion that you have shown each other through the last ten years be strengthened for many decades to come.
