Matthew & Christina's Spring Estate Wedding, Pt. II: Ceremony & Reception | Virginia Wedding Photographers at West Manor Estate
Matthew and Christina arrived separately to the First Presbyterian Church in Boonsboro. It was just a few days after a tornado had ripped through the community, but miraculously the church was not damaged, and the electricity had just come back on the night before. Guests from all over the country filled the chapel, and the ceremony began.
The service was filled with beautiful liturgy, like the sharing of the peace among the guests and bridal party. The scripture readings and songs reverberated through the spectacular vaulted ceilings. The ceremony was not long, but Matthew and Christina were excited enough to make it feel like forever. And, actually, they were so excited to kiss at the end of the ceremony that they forgot to kiss!! They dashed down the stairs amidst cheers and applause and totally forgot to seal it with a kiss - but we more than made up for it the rest of the night, so it's okay.
A massive caravan of vehicles made its way back to West Manor, and the festivities began immediately. They had a gorgeous dinner catered by Entwined Events, an elegant 3-tiered wedding cake, and then a few toasts before the party reeeeeally got started. West Manor's gorgeous Atrium was filled with evening light as Matthew & Christina had their first dances together against the backdrop of the Blue Ridge. The night would go on and on, but just wait until you see their first portraits as husband and wife - up next.
