Laura & Trevor's Wedding, Pt. III: The Ceremony | Lynchburg Wedding Photographers in Salisbury, NC
After taking a couple minutes upstairs for Laura and Trevor's first look, no peek, we all rushed downstairs to hide away as the guests arrived. The butterflies were simply bursting through Trevor as he took the stage and waited to see his bride for the first time that day. He was overcome at the moment they first caught each other's eyes. There was no looking away. Everything they had worked so hard to do, the many long months separated in different countries, every date, every hug, the proposal, everything had lead to this moment.
The room was filled with their friends and family, some travelling further than others - but all sacrificing so much to be present during this time. They lit a unity candle to symbolize the two of them becoming one, as the Bible says. They wrote the most heartfelt and honest vows to one another. They exchanged their rings, the symbol of the covenant they were embarking upon, and finally, celebrated with a kiss. Their first as husband and wife.
Laura's grandparents weren't able to make the 12 hour trip from Canada, but thanks to Facetime they were able to see the ceremony of their granddaughter. They had two guests responsible to get them on the computer and to point them in the right direction so that they didn't have to miss a moment!
As soon as the ceremony ended we took the bridal party into downtown Salisbury for their portraits. Seriously, they killed it! We had such a fun time running around downtown and stopping traffic more than once! Good people attract good people, and these were all such good people.
