Garrett & Caitlin’s Fall Wedding at the Four Winds at North Mountain, Virginia

They just happened to meet one night, helping their friend moving boxes and singing along to every word of the Backstreet Boys. And that’s when Caitlin knew. Garrett carried around the engagement ring for 6 months waiting for the perfect moment to ask the question. Sometimes you just know. And Garett and Caitlin just knew.

They wedding day was the epitome of the perfect fall day. Nestled way in the mountains of central Virginia was the most beautiful little spot for them to make their covenant. In front of their friends and family surrounded by the vibrant hues of yellow, green, and orange leaves, they said their “I do’s”.

Caitlin’s Uncle Joe preformed the ceremony. He began with the passage from Matthew 7:

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.

And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

Garrett and Caitlin, it was an honor to be along for your holy day. You guys have a firm foundation and now the fun part of building on it begins. Always come back to the foundation when you need anything, it will be able to withstand all the storms that come your way. We bless your marriage with peace and strength.
