You may recognize this incredible couple from one of our earlier blog posts. With Covid there are no rules! Carol and Fred were reunited after decades of being apart. They just couldn't wait any longer to be married, so in spite of Covid they went to the Church with the Pastor and us and got married! They had so many wonderful things planned for their celebration that they decided to do a vow renewal and go on as planned.

It felt like a family reunion! The Carols sister was the Organist, the Pianist was Fred's brother-in-law, ushers were Fred's Nephews, and the greeters were Carol and Freds nieces. The church was Fred's family's church when they were dating in High School. And the Church wedding director was their old friend from High School that reunited them after the 40 years apart.

Fred LOVES history and is the President of the Thomas Jefferson Poplar Forest Board which was the perfect venue for them to have their celebration. They surprised all their guests with a Thomas Jefferson Impersonator, who took selfies with the guests, welcomed the guests to the reception, and gave a meaningful toast to the couple. It was as if everyone had stepped back into time.

The Whole day was GORGEOUS and Carol hadn't missed even the smallest detail. The most gorgeous floral arrangements throughout the entire space. The cuff links Fred wore were given to him by Carol back when they were in High School. The dessert was delicious. A String quartet and Jazz trio kept the music playing all night long. And the sunset on the property was
