Matthew and Amanda stood together at the front of the room. His dad, a pastor and their officiant, stood between them. He looked at his son, now a man, and his bride. He's probably performed dozens of weddings in the past, but it didn't matter. Today was different. He began to speak, but he stopped short as he choked back tears.

Matthew laughed. He had been laughing all morning. He was excited - no, beyond excited. Giddy. Good money had been bet on whether or not he would cry, but he was so overjoyed in his bride that all he could do was laugh.

Amanda's smile betrayed a quiet joy too. She had known this day was coming for a very long time. The wildflowers in her bouquet complemented the sprigs of greenery woven into her braided hair. The clean, elegant lines of her dress swept across the floor. She was so excited to have found a dress with pockets, and she made good use of them. She chose white blooms and wildflowers for her bouquet and arbor, with pink blooms for her girls and vases of dried flowers on the reception tables. The theme continued all the way through their grand exit, with guests tossing dried lavender blossoms as they made their escape! It was a beautiful day and we're so excited to share these photos!
