Vince & Nasia's Multicultural Wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek, Virginia
WE’VE NEVER SEEN SO MANY FLOWERS.
Wait, let me back up.
We met Vince & Nasia in 2017. We loved their quiet maturity, and the way they cared for each other while still being sarcastic. It’s our favorite combination (unless we’re talking about rum poured over ice cream). Their engagement session on a mountaintop made our jaws hit the floor and we never really recovered from that. So we were counting down the days until their wedding to see what else they had planned, and oh boy - it was worth the wait.
We arrived at Fine Creek and made our way to the Mill tucked back the woods. The chef was already banging around in the kitchen, preparing the amazing Indian-fusion menu for the reception, while upstairs Vince’s mom was twisting together hundreds of gigantic roses into traditional Bengali necklaces. His family comes from a small Christian community in Bengal, so their family wove together traditional Bengali and Hindu customs with their Catholic heritage in a really beautiful and respectful way.
Their day was filled with THOUSANDS of flowers, every imaginable color of sari, an absolutely raging reception, and so much joy. They made our jaws drop all over again during their sunset portraits in the rocky riverbed near the Mill - not to mention their dreamy night time portraits. You just need to see. Just see.
