We are SO excited for Nathan and Elaina's downtown D.C. wedding in October! We had a wonderful time hanging out with them over coffee and getting to know them a little bit better. They are so sweet to one another! When Elaina first moved to D.C., she didn't know anyone. With nothing else to do, one day she went to the rooftop pool of her apartment building to soak in some sun - and there was Nathan with a bunch of his of his friends. The song "Midnight City" was playing, and they both knew the song. They instantly became friends, and Nathan quickly became her guide to the new city.

For the next year and half they remained friends, neither of them willing to admist to themselves that there was something more there. Finally, they decided to begin to pursue each other for marriage one day. Their relationship developed over yahtzee, coffee, and metropolitan walks. And then one day on a deserted island in the Caribbean (...RIGHT?!), Nathan opened a wood box that was shaped like a yahtzee die with his grandmother's engagement ring nestled inside, and he asked her to be his wife.

They complement each other perfectly and we're so excited to be part of this journey with them!
