We had a couple of opportunities to spend time alone with Matthew and Christina after their ceremony. As soon as we arrived back at West Manor Estate for their elegant reception, the guests enjoyed cocktails while we spent a few minutes outside. They got to walk the property together and catch their breath. Often this is the first time that a newlywed couple has time to really look at each other and realize the glory of the present reality. And tonight was no different.

After dinner, while the guests danced, and the children ran, and the elders sipped their wine, Matthew and Christina stole a few minutes to go outside for the sunset. The years of waiting to find each other, the months of planning their wedding, the days of frantic preparation and stress - it all faded away in the light of their marriage. Congratulations, dear friends.
