Laura & Trevor's Wedding Day, Pt. IV: The Reception | Lynchburg Wedding Photographers in Salisbury, NC
The best wedding reception venues require the least amount of decorations. The hardwood floors, large windows, brick walls, and exposed beams were the perfect compliment to the intentional decorations that Laura and Trevor. Each one was thought out and a perfect representation of them. From the hanging edison bulb lights, to the pale pink backdrop of the photobooth, it all just flowed. They had their grand entrance choreographed; their first dance, Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran, was performed by a live guitarist; and the DJ hit all the favorites to keep the dancing alive late into the evening.

As they were planning their wedding day, it became apparent not everyone was going to be able to make the trip from Canada to North Carolina. But that didn't stop them from sending their love through the ones that did come to celebrate. During the toasts, Laura's family and closest friends surprised them with a parody from Canada's national anthem, re-writing the lyrics into a song about Laura and Trevor. It was the greatest!!
Laura and Trevor so deeply appreciated every person who was able to come, they wanted a photograph with them all. So we took them outside, shut down traffic YET AGAIN, and made it happen. #SomethingBurrowed was more than their hashtag for the wedding, it was a culmination of everything their loved ones had freely given to make their dreams come true.
