Laura & Trevor's Wedding Day, Pt. I: Getting Ready | Lynchburg Wedding Photographers in Salisbury, NC
The place where Laura and Trevor chose to commit their lives to one another was at his father's church. It's an old church and had been added onto many times, so the stained glass hallways and spiral staircases seemed to never end. And down in the basement, tucked away in two separate rooms, were Trevor with his groomsmen and Laura with her bridesmaids, mom, and future mother-in-law.
We could feel the excitement in the air the moment we walked into their rooms. "I'm in the Mood for Love" played in the background, and the laughter from their loved ones was spilling out into the hallway. The morning flew by as they all got dressed in flattering ombre shades of pale pink, navy blue, and white lace. Everything came together just perfectly!

The first look with Dad is one of our absolute favorite moments of a wedding day. It's the first time that he gets to see his beautiful daughter in her wedding dress - and it's the last time he gets to hug his little girl. It's the last few moments he gets to hold her before giving her to another man to care for her. So many emotions in these moments - pride, love, anxiety, hope, sorrow, joy. We're so glad that Laura and her dad allowed us to make this happen for them.
