Ben & Tresa's Historical Winter Wedding, Pt. III: The Portraits | Virginia Wedding Photographers in Lynchburg
We were glad that Ben & Tresa did a first look before their ceremony. Not only did they have a ton of friends and family that wanted to steal away their attention throughout the rest of the day, but it was well below freezing outside. Tresca on 8th was an absolutely gorgeous backdrop to grab the first few portraits of the two of them on their wedding day. During their first look and portraits that morning, Ben would grab a chicken nugget or some other snack to feed Tresa between shots. It was so sweet!!
After the ceremony, Ben and Teresa braved the brutally cold temperatures to get their first portraits as officially husband and wife. They really wanted them to be on the property of Lynchburg College where their love story began. So we would - literally - run out to a location, do a couple portraits then - literally - run back into the church to warm up real quick. They were such troopers, and so focused on each other and the fact that they were really, finally husband and wife, I don't think they even cared about how cold it was. We pray that they never, ever stop being so focused on one another.
