It was a hot summer's evening. He wore a sharp tailed suite and she looked like she had just stepped out of a fairytale. Thanks to coronavirus, this day wasn't what they had planned. But their families jumped in to help, and through a labor of love, together they created the most gorgeous backyard intimate wedding in the foothills of southern Virginia.

It was full of beautiful details, and also a couple of really funny ones - like the tiny adorable drone tucked in Alfred’s boutonnière, a reference to his research work!

Many loved ones weren't able to make the trip, but they all made the most of it, FaceTiming and Zooming in whenever they could. We knew this was a special couple, but it was still amazing to hear their officiant, Pastor Rick, telling everyone that he has never had another couple put the same amount of time and preparation into their marriage as Hannah and Alfred have already done. Whoa. That’s an amazing testimony!
